As the year draws to a close, it's time to visit family, wrap presents, eat a lot of food, and bundle up for the cold weather!
With the end-of-year season upon us, how can you stay focused on your tasks?
We have some tips for you to protect “your time” and still enjoy all the things you love.
Make A List!
It's always easier to get things done when you're organized; keep track of what tasks need to be completed and when they need to be completed so you can cross them off the list and move on when they're finished.
Use your phone. Use a notebook. Use an old receipt and tape it to the fridge.
Whatever you have on hand, make a list of what you need to get done. Once it’s listed out, it will seem less intimidating.
Wake Up Early!
… Or stay up late, depending on what works for you.
Not so much that you’re sleep deprived! That won’t help anyone.
Simply carving out an extra 15 or 30 minutes for yourself can do wonders for your mental clarity. You can use the extra time to cross something off your to-do list or just set aside some peace and quiet to relax with a cup of coffee or to listen to a podcast.
Delegate!
You don’t want to sacrifice quality time with loved ones this season, but you also want to get your responsibilities taken care of. You know what that means… Delegate!
If there are things that need to be done urgently but they aren’t going to make the priority list for you, assign the task to a team member who can get it done for you.
And if you don’t have a team member on hand to help out, hire Assistants 4 Hire to get it done for you!
