Thoughts, Love & Gratitude for 2021!
Yes, it's that time of year again... where we brace ourselves for musings of a year gone by. What a year 2020 has been – indeed, the great year of the staycation! In my previous blog, I broke out the tequila and reminisced like the best of us on what 2020 offered. I scrambled around looking for reasons to justify and salvage 2020... with little success!
Here is a perspective… I came up with 3 Tools:
Tool #1 – Where your thoughts go and your energy flows:
What is your current mood? Are you feeling uplifted and happy or gloomy and down? Do you think of what your mind last dwelled on? The moment we think of something, we are giving power to it. The more thought or power we give it – the larger it grows. Now, we can choose to give our thoughts (a.k.a energy) to something positive or negative. If there is one thing you take from this blog... remember this ~ The power of thought is more powerful than you think.
Tool #2 – Gratitude as a ritual:
Gratitude is more than an annual exercise. It’s a daily ritual. If there is one ritual you want to achieve in the New Year, make it one of Gratitude. It can be as simple as waking up in the morning and placing each foot on the ground with a Thank You! While brushing your teeth, it can be your thinking of 5 things that you are thankful for what happened the day before... Or, it can be having an elaborate morning routine where you sit down with your tea or coffee and bullet journal 5 things you are grateful for. This will make an amazing shift in your perspective and powerfully transform your thoughts into ideas that attract others.
Tool #3 – Give with Love:
A pretty hard tool, but hear me out! This is not about charity, but rather doing what you do with a measure of passion; namely, LOVE. Truly resonate with the feeling of love when completing a task, and you will find that the task turns out prosperous. After all, Love is a powerful force. If you are putting love into what you do, you are filling your focus and thoughts with a positive driving force. This resonates well with the A4H tagline because if “You Do The Things You Love,” you will find that your thoughts will yield amazing outcomes. There are occasions where negativity can creep in – in this instance, acknowledge it but give it no power (by thinking of it over and over); instead, continue with giving the positive your love focus.
